My Home Delivery provides a marketplace platform connecting customers with independent delivery providers (“Carriers”) for the transport, pickup, and/or removal of large and bulky items, including furniture, appliances, fitness equipment, and other goods.
We operate throughout the Tri-State area and parts of New Jersey, offering transparent, upfront pricing and professional, white-glove delivery services.
We do not own, operate, or manage delivery vehicles directly. All delivery and removal services are provided by independent Carriers who are responsible for their own conduct, vehicles, and insurance coverage.
2. Eligibility
To use our Services, you must:

3. Booking and Payments

Upfront Pricing: All delivery quotes are provided before booking. Once you confirm your order, the rate is locked in—no hidden fees or hourly charges.

Payment Method: Payments are processed securely through our app or website using approved payment processors. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the agreed-upon amount.

Cancellations: Cancellations made prior to carrier dispatch may be eligible for a refund, less any applicable fees. Once a delivery is in progress, payments are non-refundable.
4. Customer Responsibilities

Be present (or have an authorized representative) during pickup and delivery windows.

Confirm that items are properly prepared for transport (e.g., disconnected, emptied, or disassembled as required).

5. Carrier Responsibilities
Carriers agree to:

Comply with all applicable laws, safety requirements, and insurance obligations.

Maintain appropriate business licenses and liability coverage.
My Home Delivery does not guarantee the performance, timeliness, or quality of Carrier services but works to ensure only verified, reliable Carriers participate on our platform.
6. Liability and Limitations

Independent Contractor Relationship: Carriers are independent contractors and not employees, agents, or representatives of My Home Delivery.

Damage Claims: Claims for loss or damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery completion, with supporting documentation (photos, receipts, etc.).

Service Limitations: We are not liable for delays due to traffic, weather, access restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific delivery service in question.
7. Prohibited Items and Uses
You may not use the Services to transport:

Illegal, hazardous, or flammable materials

Weapons, ammunition, or controlled substances

Animals or live plants (without approval)
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking that violates these restrictions.
